Golden Oyster mushrooms are a good source of vitamin D, potassium, vitamin B, vitamin A, and niacin. Have beneficial minerals including iron, copper, zinc, and riboflavin, and have a higher protein content than some of the other Oyster varieties. They also encompass essential amino acids such as folic acid, lovastatin which lowers cholesterol, and carotenoids which gives the mushrooms their beautiful vibrant golden color. Cut off any parts that look wet, dirty, or moist. Stems may be bitter to some, in which they should be removed and discarded. Washing mushrooms change their texture and recommend cleaning your mushrooms with a dry brush or damp cloth and allowed to dry before cooking. To access full nutritional and medicinal values, we advise they be cooked to breakdown tough cell walls and do not recommend eating mushrooms raw.

Will roughly keep for 1-4 days when stored ideally in an air-vented crisper drawer in the refrigerator and loosely wrapped in a paper packing.
Once cooked, mushrooms should be eaten within a few days or frozen, dried, canned or pickled for long-term storage.
